In 2024, Eads Hall continues Compton's legacy as both a monument to the history and acheivement of the school as well as innovations in teaching. The Eads basement is home to a massive collaborative learning space conducive to work in both large and small groups6, a computing office to foster the use of technology in the College of Arts and Sciences7, and the Humanities Digital Workshop. Additionally, Eads Hall also contains the Center for Teaching and Learning, which aids faculty, staff, and students create the ideal environment for academic excellence, just as Compton intended when conducting Nobel Prize-winning research and leading the school as Chancellor.
